Earthquake in Thailand
I help coach futsol on Saturdays and Wednesdays. The kids were out there doing their drills and then over the intercom we hear "attention, evacuate the building there is a earthquake!" All the kids stopped and looked at me....I stood there for a couple of seconds but feel anything. So I told the kids to continue on with their drills. Meanwhile...all the adults in the staff meeting are exciting the building and lining up outside. It started in Laos, our neighboring country, and was measured at 6.1. My town, Chiang Mai, is located 160 miles southwest of where the earthquake originated from. It was even felt down in Bangkok which is 465 miles south of Laos. You would think that a earthquake with that much aftermath would be felt by all.....an earthquake that most of all thailand felt....yet how did I miss that?
